Hanke Heun-Johnson, PhD's Bio
Hanke Heun-Johnson is a quantitative analyst at the USC Schaeffer Center working with the microsimulation team.
She was previously a research associate at the center. Her research for the Keck-Schaeffer Initiative for Population Health Policy focused on mental healthcare access and early interventions.
Prior to joining the Schaeffer Center, she studied the interaction effects of early-life stress and genetic variations on brain circuit development and behavior in the lab of Pat Levitt at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
She received her PhD in neuroscience from the University of Southern California and master's in molecular biology from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
