Survey Measures of Happiness

Governments around the world are increasingly interested in using survey measures of happiness for the purpose of guiding policy—but it’s not entirely clear how they should do it.

Some of my research has focused on providing guidance that is grounded in economic theory and survey evidence. My co-author, Ori Heffetz, wrote this excellent article that explains some of our work.
