Luca Maini, PhD, is an assistant professor of economics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He attended college at the University of Chicago, and obtained his PhD from Harvard University in 2018.
His research focuses on the intersection between industrial organization and health economics. He is particularly interested in how price regulation in the pharmaceutical market affects firm strategies, patient access, and the focus of R&D activity.
