Chelsea L. Shover, PhD is an epidemiologist and health services researcher who conducts policy-relevant research at the intersection of addiction, psychiatry, and infectious disease. She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford Medicine on the NIDA-funded Interdisciplinary Research Training in Pain and Substance Use Disorders T32 program. She completed her doctoral training in epidemiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her work has been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, American Journal of Public Health, AIDS and Behavior, American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, LGBT Health, Journal of Urban Health, AIDS Research and Human Retroviruses and covered in outlets including The New York Times, Vox, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, AIDSMap, and NBC.
