Leslie Lichtenstein, MBA's Bio
Leslie has over 20 years of experience in fundraising, strategy and marketing in higher education and the financial services industry.
Most recently, she served as assistant vice president, strategy and development at the University of Chicago where she led the growth of philanthropic support and strategic partnerships in the areas of engineering, data science and innovation. In this role, she worked closely with academic leadership and faculty members to develop fundraising strategies and external engagement plans in support of their areas.
Previously, Leslie was with the University of Chicago Law School as founding executive director of the Doctoroff Business Leadership Program and the Chicago Booth School of Business as senior director of alumni relations and development. At Chicago Booth, Leslie managed development teams focusing on principal and major gift donors and worked closely with faculty and deans on strategic fundraising and engagement initiatives.
Leslie began her career in the financial services industry at Citigroup. Her most recent role in industry was with PPM America, a subsidiary of Prudential plc UK, as assistant vice president, business development where her responsibilities included institutional fundraising and client service.
Leslie received her BA in psychology and MBA from the University of Chicago.
